Our members range from 4yrs to 15yrs and ability levels from beginner to championship. The members participate in events as individuals and as part of a duo, trio or group.
We are very proud of their achievements and a highlight from the UKFM 2007 National Championships was having a team member being chosen to be part of the UKFM Colourguard 2007/08.

Below are some highlights and thoughts from the members themselves, here's what they think about majorettes and what it brings to their lives. -
Info as at Summer 2007
I've been in the team for 7 years and thoroughly enjoy it. My favourite equipment is the ribbon as it is simple and effective. It's a great opportunity to make new friends with the same interest as you. I have won many trophies but there is always room for improvement.
I've been doing majorettes for 5 years and I've enjoyed every moment, oh instead when I cracked my tooth! My favourite equipment is the baton. I love majorettes and have made many friends. We have good fundraising events and because we worked so hard we had the opportunity to go to France. And my last words of advice - if you want to see the adult routine get some ear plugs!...
I've been part of the team for 5 years. My favourite equipment is the Mace because it looks really complicated. I like doing duos with (Frankie...) but she is much smaller than me. I enjoy doing majorettes as I have made many more friends.
I have been doing majorettes for 7 years and there is always something new to try. My favourite piece of equipment is the flag. It is always strange when suddently we can do a move when we couldn't before. At the competitions my favourite event is the parents routine, whereby the adults try to do what we do and make complete fools of themselves at the same time. It's great fun, I love being a part of it.
I have been doing majorettes for 2 years. My favourite event of the year is the Nationals at Cambersands, it's such a fun time with your friends. I like doing pom duos with (.....) and my favourite events are the ribbon and poms. Majorettes is very fun. I have made lots of new friends.
I have been doing majorettes for 5 years. The favourite thing I like is doing Nursery Rhyme Star and Flag Solo. I like doing flag with (Peanut..) and mace with my big sister.
I've been part of the team for 6 months. My favourite equipment is flag and poms because it is hard and looks good. It's good for mummy's and daddy's too as they can join in with the parents routines. I have lots of friends like (Tigger..) and I do majorettes with my big sister.
I like doing duos with (Monkey..) and my favourite event is pom poms. I also like doing baton duo with (Monkey..).
I have been with the team for 5 years. My favourite events are the baton and mace. I like doing duo's with (Eeyore....) because she is very nice and fun but she is much bigger than me. And what I like to learn is two baton because it is very fun. We have breaks, sometimes play games and we also go on holiday together as a team.
I like doing challenge duo because you get to meet new people and make new friends. My favourite equipment is one and 2 baton.
I like doing duos with (Curly..) because she is my best friend at majorettes. I have been going for 3 years and my favourite equipment is poms.
I like going to majorettes because I've made lots of friends and I like wearing the sparkly costumes.
I've been with the team from the beginning. We practice together, have fun together and believe in each other. We are a team and work to achieve the best we can. New members join and some leave but the core disciplines remain. I'm honoured to be part of the achievements of the team, whether they are at the training sessions, family fun days or on the competition floor. I encourage the members to be proud of themselves and enjoy the opportunities and experiences that may come their way.
I have been doing majorettes for about 2 years and I really enjoy it. I now help train and enjoy encouraging the younger and new members. I'm hoping we do well at our next event. xxxx
I've been part of the team for over 7 1/2 years. Joining when I was 7 was a little scary but me and my friend joined together and we really enjoyed it. Over the years everything seems a little less scary and everyone becomes rather like another family. Last year I decided to give up the competitive side of baton twirling and was asked to be an assistant trainer. This was a rather large challenge but hopefully I'm not doing too bad as not too many have fled!!! - Good Luck at the next competition girls, know you can do it!! - WE THINK YOU'RE DOING A GRAND JOB...... DON'T WE GIRLS?.......!!!
We'd like to say a big thank you to our 2 dedicated trainers!!!
Don't we girls??!!!
