We finish the year with some festive spirt, we have our Family Quiz Night, Children's Christmas Party and our xmas training session.
On the twirling side the members are learning and practicing their routines ahead of the competitions which start again in January.
Looking back on the year the girls have enjoyed some fantastic opportunities from a twirling and social perspective - the snow tubing, visit to Fun Drum, trip to London, being part of the 11th November charity event, winning the Overall Kent Team award at the UKFM National Championships in April, our younger and newer members beginning to shine through, competing at Twirl Mania in Florida, USA, the numerous National Championship titles at the UKFM Nationals to name just a few....
This year we' ve also sadly said goodbye to many of our older members who have decided it's time to leave. These members and their families have been a core part of the troupe, having put their time and effort into supporting the troupe at its events throughout the year. There's been events we have enjoyed less so than others and at those we've used them as a learning experience, however overall we've had a great time and will look back with proud memories. We take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the team, past and present - hope to see you at the Christmas party.
Moving ahead into 2010 we have lots to keep us busy, we have our regular competitions during the winter months which we will continue to learn and practice for. Additionally the members have the opportunity to try a different style of twirling, with this brings its challenges - we'll keep you updated as the year progresses....
January 2010 - is our 10th Birthday - to this day we still use the same hall we started at 10 years ago and our very first member still forms part of the troupe family membership.
Wishing all our members, their families and friends a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
